Resolvo Systems Pte Ltd (Resolvo) is a Resource Optimisation company. An enterprise manages 3 core business resource groups- Information, Human and Hardware Infrastructure resources. In each of these groups, Resolvo focuses on optimising their clients' business resources with their Business Analytics, Office collaboration and Linux Infrastructure offerings.
In the Asia/Pacific region, Shell oversees operations in 8 countries sub-divided into various asset clusters for management purposes. For effective control over the geographically diverse assets, key business information needs to be at the management's fingertips. These information includes monthly oil and gas production figures, reserves projections, integrity indicators, budget allocations etc.
Shell management requires a business tool to gather and analyse the key performance information from all the asset clusters and allow them to monitor asset performance regularly. However, the long-term IT solution (which is SAP / Data warehouse) selected by Shell Group for this business situation can only be implemented in 2006. Without key information at hand, Shell management carries the risk of untimely execution of certain operational and management decisions.
